Footprints.I want to be quoted, I want to be seen, I want to be heard.
I want to be believed, to be admired, to be respected, to be understood.
To be contemplated, to be defended, to be thought of; I want to leave something behind.
I want to live forever in memory, I want forever to live in me.
I want eternity to hold me through the night, I want endlessness to wrap me in its warmth.
I want to exist 1000 years from now, in strangers I have only seen in my dreams.
I want to impact people, I have not yet met, who know me intimately because of my art, my expression, my words, my ideas, my vision. I want to be the inspiration for other artists, just lik
Does Morality Have a Place in the Modern World?
Many are confused as to the above question. Others are apathetic. What does the Bible really teach on the matter? Please see my May 17th journal entry, and have your Bible ready!
HistoryI'm just shy of 17.
I don't know what I'm doing tomorrow,
Let alone, for the rest of my days.
But that doesn't bother me.
What does bother me,
Is thinking about time.
The most valuable resource.
Because I know that what I experience now,
Will never repeat itself,
I will never live this again,
And even though,
The next generation will live it;
Will they care?
Will it be the same?
Of the many fears I have in life,
Dying, being not particularly high on that list,
I fear most of all, being forgotten.
No, not me being forgotten.
My time being forgotten.
I study History,
Study it hard,
Not out of some desire over,
Bloody battles, many lost lives
1001 AR Quotes - No.2Animals can communicate quite well. And they do. And generally speaking, they are ignored.
Don't You Quit!Have you grown weary? Are you tired of feeling small? Do you feel as though you've given your all, yet you have gotten nowhere?
Inspired, you create something you're proud of. Yet, try as you might, your creation goes unnoticed - as if nobody cares at all!
The months fly, and still you wait for a comment - a word of encouragement! However, nothing comes of it - no, nothing at all!
Now, as you wait for an answer that isn't forthcoming, you notice your motivation has taken a dive! Sure, you continue to work - oftentimes for many hours - and with very little to eat! However, the inspiration just seems to be in short supply, these days. "Why b
What is man? Man is a learner. What is man? Man is a learner. Man learns, it is what creates him and forms him, man is an endless people of knowledge to which we all are pools created from droplets to which are our learnings.
But man is two types of learner, that of the man in the shower and that of the man in the forest.
The man of the shower is the man of society, the man who follows the rules of society in all its form. He learns from the media and daily life; he has no true experience of the world around him and is often ignorant to what he feels does not concern him. He is in a shower. Sheltered from harm by his glass door and thermostat, protected from what doesn't
The failure of the Cosmological argumentI havenīt written anything in a while, so I decided to write this both as a mental exercise and because my watchers are probably wondering if Iīm still alive :). But it’s also something important I want to give my thoughts on.
We’ve all heard of the cosmological argument, one of, if not the, most common arguments for the existence of a god. For those who don’t know, this is how the argument goes:
1. Every finite and contingent being has a cause.
2. A causal loop cannot exist.
3. A causal chain cannot be of infinite length.
4. Therefore, a First Cause (or something that is not an effect) must exist.
The first problem lies
The Light of WisdomConfucius once said there were three ways one could gain wisdom: through reflection, which is the noblest, by imitation, which is the easiest, and through experience, which is the bitterest. When you reach a certain age you start to value those countless hours you stood reading all those books to get a fucking A. Books are a invaluable treasure the scholars left us.
Knowledge is the greatest power we have these days, and whoever says otherwise is as ignorant as badger. The thing is, knowledge must come naturally, not forced. If you force someone to study something they don't like, like when I spent seventeen years, precious seventeen years o
The WriterWords are my tools.
I may not be a wizard with the brush, but I know how to create an image.
Though my imagination may not paint a clear vision - it is up to you to decide.
What do you see?
Does it make you smile? Make you happy, sad, joyous, upset?
What do my words mean to you?
Is every image the same?
What do you see?
Words are my tools.
I am the writer.
What is grace?What is grace?
Too many of us think that God's grace is a shield that indemnifies us against the consequences of our sins.
God's ability to forgive is infinite, however grace is not a shield.
Grace is a bone saw.
"If your eye causes you to sin it is better to pluck it out than to continue sinning."
Grace is a spiritual amputation of a piece of your soul infected by the gangrene of iniquity.
God's ability to forgive is infinite, however is the individual's ability to receive grace likewise infinite? How many graces can a person receive before the soul-body ceases to function?
I will show how this is the truth in Chapter 5B of "Worth 1000 Word
Have you ever wondered?Have you ever wondered about those bad memories? The ones who, from time to time, tend to haunt you? Have you ever wondered if they'll go away or if they'll stay forever in your mind?
I do... And the only thing I want now is to them to disappear and leave me alone, to stop haunting me... Because I know I made mistakes, ended up hurt and I regret that... But it hurts even more that they still on my mind torturing me...
ATTACKED BY AN ALLIGATOR!!!I just got out of the tub! I was covered in swamp slime! What happened was this... an hour ago I told in my journal that I was going out into the swamp before the sun goes down! I got into my Canoe! If anyone doesn't know what a Canoe is it's a type of boat. I'll put a pic of one that looks like mine up top.
I got into the Canoe. I saw the sun slowly drop down. I was going against my own rules of the swamp that I told my nephew Ray and my friends, the rule is: Never, never EVER go into the swamp at night even in a boat. You see... the Gators get REALLY big around here. Some are up to 8 feet long and are known to attack boats 5 times larger then they are. I broke my rule and got into the Canoe and heeded off into the maze of swampy rivers.
30 minutes later...
"Now I'm lost! Where the hell am I!?" I screamed into the swamp. Yelling just that one thing took up my energy. I have this weird thing that I can tire from just talking. I looked up into the dark swamp... a terrifying sight
Just a thoughtDeath.
Is it really such a terrible thing?
I've always found it as something to look forward to.
I'd never be hungry, or cold- I wouldn't have to worry about anything-
I'd sleep forever- something that I an insomniac lacks-
And I'd never tell the difference between the dream and reality.
Content for all eternity.
Stories of the delirious: The backyard 2The girl is now sitting down on the porch of her backyard. Staring into wide open space. The leaves are rustling in the cold winter breeze. Shes wearing nothing but her black and white pajamas. Her tired golden eyes staring into space.
"Hey- if your going to narrating me, could you stop calling me girl?"
"But you are a girl." I state calmly.
"I have a name you know." She said with a harsh tone.
"Then- what would you like me to call you?"
"Whats that supposed to mean?"
She starts to pound her fist into her chest, and tries to clear her throat.
As she spats out mucus and blood onto the wooden floor, she reaches into her front pocket. A
